Start with your needs

Beautiful to look at. Comfortable to live with.

The best choice starts with the room, how it is used and what you expect from your new floor.

Easy to maintain

PVC and vinyl are practical options. We look at the protective layer, how the floor will be used and the maintenance required for the chosen collection.

Soft & comfortable

Carpet or a rug makes the room feel softer and can dampen sound. The texture and a suitable underlay make a difference.

Renovating over tiles

Sometimes your existing tiled floor can remain in place. We check stability, moisture, joints and height before recommending a build-up.

A cohesive look

Colour, pattern, laying direction, skirting boards and transitions together determine the overall look. We also consider the connection with adjoining rooms.

The foundation deserves attention

Can your new floor be installed over the existing tiles?

That can work in different situations, but the subfloor must be suitable. Loose tiles, height differences and moisture problems need to be resolved first.

Doors, sliding doors and connections matter too. We explain what preparation is needed and include it in the proposal.

Frequently asked questions about flooring

Can any floor be installed over existing tiles?

No. That depends on the material, the condition of the tiles, moisture, and the available height. We check the situation before advising on the necessary preparation and installation method.

Is the floor suitable for underfloor heating?

That depends on the collection and system. We check the manufacturer's specifications, the total floor buildup, and the permitted temperature. Also let us know whether you have electric underfloor heating.

What should I consider with large glass surfaces?

Direct sunlight can heat the floor significantly. We review the selected collection, installation method, and sun exposure together. Shading and a suitable indoor climate may be important.

What do you need for a price estimate?

Send photos, your town or city, the approximate area, and your preferred material. A floor plan is also helpful. Before the final installation, we check the measurements and subfloor.

Do you also take care of skirting boards and finishing?

Yes. We discuss skirting boards, profiles, transitions, and any stair covering in advance and include the agreed components in the proposal.
