Wood, aluminium or vertical blinds?
Wooden blinds look different and weigh differently from aluminium blinds. Vertical blinds can suit wide glazing or doors. Slat width, colour, sheen and the size of the stack determine the view when the covering is open. We assess these against the free space around your window.
The slat angle changes the room
Tilting the slats changes daylight and the line of sight. Full privacy also depends on viewing angle, lighting and installation. In a bathroom or kitchen we check that the selected material suits moisture and everyday use. A wood-look photograph alone says nothing about technical suitability.
Measuring and care are part of the choice
We assess fixing points, handles, space for the raised stack and controls. At a door the blind needs enough clearance to move. Use the care method appropriate to the material; aggressive cleaners or excessive water can damage finishes. We advise for the selected product.
