Darkening and comfort start with the fit
The slats are only part of the system: the headbox, guides, junctions and measurements also determine the result. We discuss how much darkening you want and check the fit around the window. If your priority is filtered sunshine with a view, screens may be a better match. We explain the difference before you order.
Motorise or replace?
For an existing shutter we inspect the slats, shaft, headbox and guides. Sometimes a motor can be added; sometimes replacing components or the whole system is more sensible. The motor must match the weight, controls and system. Maintenance access and the power supply are also considered.
Pricing and scheduling for your home
Dimensions, slat type, headbox, colour, motor, solar system and installation determine the quotation. Photographs of the window and existing headbox help the initial assessment. Final dimensions and technical choices are agreed before ordering. Delivery and fitting dates are confirmed for the selected specification.
Practical questions, clear answers
Can existing shutters be motorised?
Often, but the structure, shaft and slats need to be suitable. We assess the system first.
Is solar always the best option?
No. Sun exposure, space for the panel, usage and system compatibility determine whether solar is suitable.
Do shutters guarantee protection against burglary?
No. A shutter adds a barrier, but security claims require a suitably certified system and correct installation.
Can you replace the slats?
We check compatibility with the existing headbox, guides and drive. Correct dimensions and weight matter.
