Have Flooring Installed on the Costa Blanca
Choosing a floor is one thing. Installing it correctly is often a completely different story.
Many people nowadays buy a floor online, through a hardware store, or directly from a supplier. On paper, installing a PVC floor, parquet floor, or carpet often seems simple, until in practice it becomes clear how much difference good preparation and professional installation make.
Especially in Spain, there are additional challenges. Existing tile floors, temperature differences, uneven subfloors, and large open spaces often make installing a floor here more specialized than people expect beforehand.
At Port of Altea we therefore also help customers who bought their floor elsewhere but are looking for a professional installation service on the Costa Blanca.

Installing a floor is more than just clicking or cutting
Many floors nowadays seem easy to install. Especially click PVC is often sold as if it can be "just laid down."
In practice, we often see homes where people discover halfway through a renovation that:
- the floor isn't flat enough,
- seams become visible later,
- a herringbone pattern doesn't come out well,
- joints start to shift,
- or that the finish turns out to be much more specialized than expected.
That doesn't mean a floor is bad — but the preparation and installation ultimately determine how flawless the final result will be.

Also for PVC, parquet, vinyl, and carpet
We provide professional installation of various types of floors, including PVC, parquet, vinyl, carpet, and herringbone floors.
Experience is especially important with glued dryback PVC floors, herringbone patterns, and existing tile floors. Small deviations in the substrate quickly become visible with these types of floors.
That is why we always first check the condition of the home before starting the installation.
Leveling and preparation
Many problems do not arise during the floor laying itself, but with the base underneath.
Many homes on the Costa Blanca still have ceramic tile floors with deep joints or small height differences. If that substrate is not properly prepared, unevenness often remains visible later in the new floor.
Where necessary, we first level the existing floor before installing a new one.
A beautiful floor actually starts beneath the floor.
