A distinctive floor with a refined, timeless appearance
The Porto Paris Hungarian Point PVC is made for interiors where the floor is truly part of the design.
The characteristic Hungarian point pattern creates a sleek, rhythmic interplay of lines and immediately gives a room more depth and luxury. Thanks to its natural wood grain and refined colour tones, this floor combines effortlessly with both modern and classic interiors.
Porto Paris Hungarian Point is available in four stylish colours:
- Natural Oak
- Smoky
- Warm Oak
- Brown
This allows you to match the character of the floor perfectly to your interior.
Natural-looking wood effect with the comfort of PVC
The Embossed in Register (EIR) texture follows the wood grain of the design. This means the floor not only looks natural, but its texture also feels realistic.
The strong 0.55 mm wear layer and use class 23/34 make Porto Paris suitable for heavy domestic use and more intensive commercial use.
In addition, the floor is:
- water-resistant;
- easy to maintain;
- wear-resistant;
- slip-resistant;
- suitable for underfloor heating;
- suitable for residential and commercial applications.

What is the difference between Hungarian point and herringbone?
In a herringbone floor, the planks are laid perpendicular to each other. With Hungarian point, the ends are placed against each other at an angle, creating clean V-shapes.
This gives the floor a more symmetrical and architectural appearance.
For those who love the character of herringbone but are looking for a slightly sleeker and more exclusive pattern, Hungarian point is an excellent choice.
How much Porto Paris Hungarian Point do you need?
Enter the net number of square metres of your room in the calculator on this page.
The calculator automatically calculates how many full packs you need and includes 10% cutting waste by default.
For a patterned floor such as Hungarian point, we certainly recommend allowing for at least 10% cutting waste if you are laying it yourself and have little experience. Extra material may be advisable for complex spaces or rooms with many corners.
Porto Paris Hungarian Point is sold exclusively per full pack of 1.75 m².
What else might you need?
Because this is a Dryback PVC floor, depending on the existing subfloor you may also need:
- primer
- levelling compound
- PVC adhesive
- skirting boards
- transition profiles
A flat, well-prepared subfloor is especially important with Hungarian point. The pattern makes small irregularities more visible than a standard straight plank.
You will find our flooring accessories below this page.
Porto Paris Hungarian Point and underfloor heating
With a thermal resistance of just 0.04 m² K/W, this Dryback floor is ideally suited to underfloor heating.
Because the floor is glued directly to the subfloor, heat can be transferred efficiently.
Maintaining Porto Paris Hungarian Point PVC
PVC is easy to keep clean. Regular vacuuming and light damp mopping are usually sufficient.
First remove sand and small stones while dry to prevent fine scratches, and preferably use a floor cleaner suitable for PVC that does not leave greasy or sticky residue.
A floor that defines the interior
Hungarian point already has a luxurious appearance of its own. Combine Porto Paris with calm walls and natural materials for a refined overall look, or choose dark skirting boards, brass accents and rich fabrics for a bolder interior.
