Porto Herringbone Beige PVC is the beige color from Port of Altea’s Porto Herringbone collection.
Refined pattern, natural tones, and the look of real wood
The Porto Herringbone PVC combines a luxurious pattern with a calm, timeless look. The natural and beige tones make this floor particularly suitable for interiors where warmth, tranquility, and refinement are central.
The characteristic herringbone pattern creates a sleek and symmetrical linear design, while the Embossed in Register (EIR) texture realistically follows the wood grain. This gives the floor the appearance of real parquet, but with all the practical benefits of PVC.
Strong, easy to maintain, and suitable for intensive use
Porto Herringbone is designed for everyday comfort and long-term use.
The floor has a durable 0.55 mm wear layer and use class 23/34, making it suitable for heavy domestic use and more intensive commercial use.
In addition, the floor is:
- water-resistant;
- easy to maintain;
- wear-resistant;
- slip-resistant;
- suitable for underfloor heating;
- suitable for residential and project applications.

What is the difference between herringbone and chevron?
In a herringbone floor, the planks are laid perpendicular to one another. With chevron, the planks meet at an angle, creating clean V-shapes.
This gives the floor a more symmetrical and architectural appearance.
For those looking for the luxurious appearance of a patterned floor but who prefer a calmer and cleaner overall look than traditional herringbone, chevron is an excellent choice.
How much Porto Herringbone do you need?
Enter the net number of square meters of your room in the calculator on this page.
The calculator automatically calculates how many full packs you need and includes a standard 10% cutting waste.
Are you installing the floor yourself and have little or no experience? Allow for at least 10% cutting waste. For a complex pattern or many corners, additional material may be advisable.
Porto Herringbone is sold exclusively per full pack of 1.003 m².
What else might you need?
Because this is a Dryback PVC floor, depending on the existing subfloor you may also need:
- primer
- self-leveling compound
- PVC adhesive
- skirting boards
- transition profiles
A level and properly prepared subfloor is especially important with chevron, because small deviations in the pattern become visible more quickly.

Porto Herringbone and underfloor heating
With a thermal resistance of 0.04 m² K/W, this floor is highly suitable for underfloor heating.
Because Dryback PVC is glued directly to the subfloor, heat can be transferred efficiently.
Maintaining Porto Herringbone PVC
PVC is easy to keep clean. Regular vacuuming and lightly damp mopping are usually sufficient.
First remove sand and small stones while dry to prevent fine scratches, and preferably use a cleaning product suitable for PVC that does not leave a greasy or sticky residue.
A calm foundation with character
Porto Herringbone pairs beautifully with light walls, natural fabrics, and warm wood tones. For a more modern contrast, you can combine the floor with black details or high skirting boards.
