Frequently asked questions about PVC flooring.
Can PVC be fitted over my existing tiles?
Often, provided the tiles are securely fixed and the subfloor is suitable. We check flatness, stability, joints and door clearances. For glue-down flooring, we prepare and level the base before bonding the floor.

Glue-down PVC is bonded to a prepared subfloor. Click PVC is fitted as a floating floor using a locking system. The best choice depends on your home, the subfloor, the room and the chosen product.
Compare glue-down and click PVCIs fitting included in the online price per m²?
Our online flooring prices are material prices including VAT. Preparation, levelling, fitting and any delivery costs are agreed separately. For a complete project, we prepare a price estimate based on your situation.

Enter your floor area on the product page. The calculator can add 10% cutting waste and rounds the required quantity up to whole packs. Unusual room shapes or laying patterns may need a different allowance; we can help you assess this.
What should I consider with strong sunlight?
Direct sunlight through glass can create localised heat on a floor. We assess sunlight, the subfloor, the flooring system and the manufacturer's installation instructions. Shading can help limit direct heat.
