Shade where you actually sit
A wide awning does not automatically shade your table. The angle of the sun changes during the day and across the seasons. We consider orientation, the seating area, width, projection and pitch together. Doors, balconies above and the wall height also affect installation. Photographs help with the initial advice.
Fabric, cassette and controls
We match the fabric colour and pattern to your home. A cassette can protect the fabric and mechanism when closed. Manual or electric controls are selected for accessibility and everyday use. A sensor can assist, but the awning must always be used within the limits of its model. An awning is not a storm-resistant terrace roof.
A complete quotation with installation details
The price depends on dimensions, cassette, fabric, controls and fixing requirements. For existing awnings we check the arms, fabric tube and fixing points before recommending a fabric replacement. The quotation specifies the selected model, installation and any additional work, making comparison more useful.
Practical questions, clear answers
Can just the fabric be replaced?
Yes, if the mechanism and structure remain suitable. We assess the existing system before ordering.
How do I choose the projection?
Based on terrace depth, seating position, mounting height and sun direction. A dimension only helps if the shade falls where it is needed.
Can an awning stay open in strong wind?
Use it within the wind limits of the selected system. Retract it in good time when conditions deteriorate; a sensor does not replace that responsibility.
Do you measure and fit the awning?
Yes. We guide the process from advice and final dimensions through supply and installation within our service area.
