For this apartment in Mascarat, we were able to install custom wave curtains with a view over the Mediterranean Sea. The residents chose light inbetween curtains on a wall-mounted rail with distance brackets. This preserved the open character of the space while simultaneously creating more privacy and atmosphere.

The client deliberately did not want the curtains to hang from the ceiling. Therefore, we chose a rail on the wall. With distance brackets, the wave fold has enough space to fall beautifully, resulting in a calm, elegant finish.

Wave curtains mounted on the wall

Wave curtains are often mounted on the ceiling, but that is certainly not always necessary. In this apartment in Mascarat, wall mounting better suited the client’s wishes and the look of the space.

By mounting the rail with distance brackets on the wall, the curtains hang slightly away from the wall. This keeps the wave fold nicely even and gives the fabric enough space to fall smoothly.

Inbetween wave curtains for light and privacy

For this project, a light inbetween fabric was chosen. This fabric filters daylight naturally and provides more privacy without completely blocking the beautiful view.

Especially in apartments on the Costa Blanca, there is often a search for a balance between light, view, and shelter. Inbetween curtains are a great solution for this. They soften the light, add atmosphere to the space, and create a calmer appearance.
