Holiday homes & rentals
A fresh holiday home, while preserving the solid foundation.
A holiday home needs to be attractive to guests while remaining practical to maintain. If the kitchen, doors, and built-in cupboards are still functioning well, a new finish can help modernize the property. The best approach focuses on visible, suitable surfaces and takes usage, cleaning, and the time available between bookings into account.

A good choice starts here
What should you consider?
Not every surface and not every application requires the same approach. These points determine what looks good and is technically sound.
01Choose the surfaces that make the difference
Rental photos mainly show the kitchen, living room and bedrooms. A dated wall of cabinets or kitchen front can attract a lot of attention in them. Sometimes a targeted change is sufficient; sometimes the overall look also calls for flooring, window coverings or lighting. We consider the property as a whole.
02Maintenance and changing users
Guests use a property differently from its owner. Surfaces regularly come into contact with suitcases, cleaning products and water. The choice of material must therefore suit the actual use. We discuss with the installer which specific CoverStyl finish is suitable and which maintenance instructions apply.
03Planning between rental periods
A renovation must be completed in time for the next arrival. The duration depends on the scope, substrate and preparation. Send us your available dates early so feasibility and scheduling can be coordinated before you align new bookings with the work.
04A cohesive plan
Port of Altea can combine the look of wrapping with advice on curtains, window coverings and flooring. Envoltura handles the technical assessment and installation of the film. This gives your holiday home a clear, fitting style without arbitrary, isolated changes.

Good to know beforehand
The result is in the details.
Photos and first impressions
A rental property is often assessed first through photos. An outdated wall of cabinets or kitchen immediately stands out, even if everything still functions well. Therefore, focus a renovation on the largest visible surfaces and consider whether the color, curtains and flooring create a clear overall look. A single striking film is no substitute for a cohesive interior.
Account for heavy use
Suitcases brushing against cabinet doors, frequent cleaning and changing users require an appropriate choice of material. Discuss which surfaces experience extra wear and which products the cleaning team uses. The technical suitability of a reference should be included in the quotation. After completion, give the property manager simple maintenance instructions so everyone treats the same surface in the same way.
Allow time for assessment
Do not wait until the short period between two bookings to make a complete decision, place an order and carry out the work. Send photos, quantities and your rental calendar early. This allows any repairs, material selection and the work itself to be scheduled realistically. An existing damp spot or damaged front can change the schedule and deserves attention beforehand.
Frequently asked questions
Clarity before you decide
Film can change a lot, but it cannot solve every technical problem. That is why we always assess the underlying condition first.
Can the property be worked on while it is being rented out?
A vacant period is usually more practical; the exact schedule depends on the work.
Is film suitable for intensive rental use?
That depends on the chosen reference, application and maintenance. We have this assessed for each surface.
Can I arrange this if I am not in Spain myself?
Photos and a contact person or keyholder help with the initial discussion; access and decisions about samples must be arranged in advance.
Is a rental property a different application?
Usage and cleaning demands may be higher. This should be reflected in the choice of material and maintenance instructions.
