We can make rugs up to 4 metres wide and virtually unlimited in length.

Different qualities and materials
For custom-made rugs, the choice of material is at least as important as the size or shape.
Depending on how the rug will be used and the look you want, we can supply various qualities:
Wool
Wool rugs have a warm, luxurious appearance and are naturally resilient and durable. Ideal for living rooms and bedrooms where comfort and atmosphere are important.
Synthetic yarns (such as polyamide or polyester)
These qualities are highly durable, easy to maintain and colourfast. Perfect for areas subject to heavier use, such as under a dining table or in rental properties.
High-pile carpet
Creates a soft, comfortable look and feels warm. Suitable for spaces where comfort comes first, such as bedrooms.
Low-pile carpet
Sleeker, more modern and easier to maintain. Ideal for placing under furniture or in areas where chairs are moved around.
Project-quality carpet

Sisal
Sisal rugs are made from natural fibers and have a strong, robust appearance. They are highly durable and fit perfectly in modern and Mediterranean interiors. Ideal for living rooms, hallways, and under dining tables. Sisal feels somewhat firmer and is less suitable for damp spaces.

Take photos in daylight, note the measurements, and record what is currently on the floor or in front of the window. Also describe who uses the space, how often the property is occupied, and which problems you specifically want to solve. This turns general advice into a practical plan.
Do not compare materials based on appearance alone. Ask about the technical composition, maintenance, expected lifespan and the preparation required. A lower-priced product may ultimately be more expensive if the base work has not been included or the chosen execution does not suit everyday use.
Practical checklist before ordering
- Check the subfloor, window construction or installation location instead of relying only on approximate measurements.
- View actual samples in the light of the room and at different times of day.
- Record the colour, execution, direction, operation and finish in writing.
- Ask which work and materials are included in the price exactly.

Common mistake: committing to one solution too early
An online example can provide inspiration, but tells you nothing about your subfloor, dimensions, sun exposure or intended use. Therefore, start with the function and technical requirements. Only then choose the final colour and appearance. This prevents compromises during installation and makes quotations easier to compare.
