What makes straight PVC planks appealing?

Straight PVC planks can provide a strong, low-maintenance floor with a wide choice of plank, tile, and pattern options. Quality is not determined by one characteristic alone. Also consider dryback or click, wear layer, dimensional stability, subfloor smoothing, and overall build-up height. Ask for an explanation of the complete build-up, not just the visible colour or collection.

A sample is intended to help assess the material, but it does not automatically show how repetition, direction, drape, or texture will look across a large surface. Therefore, view several samples in daylight and place them next to walls, the kitchen, furniture, and existing materials.

Technology before decoration

First check the base to which or on which the product will be installed. For flooring, this concerns levelness, stability, moisture, existing tiles, doors, and skirting boards. For window coverings, this concerns the window frame, wall, or ceiling; the unrestricted movement of windows, shutters, and handles; and the available installation space.

What can you check upon completion?

Do not only look at the overall picture. Also check edges, joints, skirting boards, profiles, rails, supports, controls and connections to doors or window frames. Walk around or operate the product calmly and ask immediately about any detail that is unclear.
