UZIN PE 360 PLUS is a ready-to-use, solvent-free dispersion primer for preparing absorbent substrates before they are levelled or bonded.
The primer penetrates deep into the substrate, binds residual dust and reduces substrate absorbency. This prevents the mixing water from being absorbed too quickly from the levelling compound. This improves flow, reduces the risk of air voids and ensures reliable adhesion between the substrate and the next layer.
UZIN PE 360 PLUS is very fast-drying, moisture-resistant, easy to apply and suitable for indoor floors and walls.

Applications
UZIN PE 360 PLUS can be used as a primer beneath repair and levelling compounds and before certain adhesive applications.
Suitable for, among other applications:
-
Cement-based screeds
-
Sand-cement screeds
-
Absorbent concrete floors
-
Calcium sulphate and anhydrite screeds
-
Existing absorbent UZIN levelling layers
-
Fresh but sufficiently walkable levelling layers that are to be levelled again
-
Gypsum-based substrates
-
Gypsum fibreboards
-
Absorbent walls before plastering or tiling
-
Subfloors with hot-water underfloor heating
-
Floors subject to castor-wheel traffic
-
Floors subject to heavy loads in homes, shops and commercial spaces
On smooth, dense and non-absorbent substrates, a special bonding primer such as UZIN PE 280 may be necessary. For wood-based panels or moisture-sensitive substrates, use a primer expressly suitable for them.
Not a replacement for a moisture barrier
UZIN PE 360 PLUS is moisture-resistant, but on its own it does not form a sealing moisture barrier against rising moisture or an excessively high residual moisture content.
Always check before application that the substrate is sufficiently dry. If a moisture barrier is required, use a suitable UZIN moisture barrier or a complete Moisture Tolerant system.
Substrate preparation
The substrate must be sound, dimensionally stable, clean and free from cracks, oil, grease, wax, paint and other substances that may impair adhesion.
Remove loose or poorly bonded layers by brushing, sanding, milling or dust-free blasting. Then vacuum the substrate thoroughly.
Allow the packaging to acclimatise before use and shake or mix the product thoroughly.
Application
-
Apply UZIN PE 360 PLUS evenly and fully with a nylon roller of approximately 14 mm.
-
Use a brush for edges, corners and hard-to-reach areas.
-
Spread the product carefully and avoid thick layers and puddle formation.
-
For highly absorbent substrates, do not pour the product directly onto the floor.
-
A second coat may be necessary on highly absorbent substrates.
-
Allow the primer to dry completely before applying the next layer.
-
Clean tools with water immediately after use.
Consumption and drying time
| Application and substrate | Consumption | Drying time |
|---|---|---|
| Cement levelling compound on cement screed, cement levelling compound or concrete | 80–150 g/m² | approx. 30 minutes |
| Poorly absorbent substrate with suitable old adhesive residues | 80–100 g/m² | approx. 60 minutes |
| Gypsum levelling compound on anhydrite, gypsum, gypsum fibreboard or plaster | 80–120 g/m² | approx. 30 minutes |
The exact drying time depends on the temperature, humidity, amount of product applied and the absorbency of the substrate.
Coverage per package
A 10 kg package provides the following coverage at a consumption rate of:
| Consumption | Coverage per package |
|---|---|
| 80 g/m² | approx. 125 m² |
| 100 g/m² | approx. 100 m² |
| 120 g/m² | approx. 83 m² |
| 150 g/m² | approx. 67 m² |
These values are indicative. Rough or highly absorbent substrates may require more product.
