Porto Visgraat PVC vloer – Port of Altea showroom Altea Costa Blanca

Timeless herringbone design with the benefits of PVC

The Porto Herringbone PVC combines the luxurious appearance of a classic herringbone floor with the practical convenience of modern PVC. The lifelike wood texture, subtle knots and refined micro-bevel give the floor a warm, high-quality appearance that is barely distinguishable from real wood.

Porto Herringbone is available as Click and Dryback, so you can choose what best suits the space, subfloor and installation method.

Stylish, strong and easy to maintain

Porto Herringbone is designed for intensive daily use. Thanks to the robust 0.55 mm wear layer the floor is wear-resistant and suitable for both busy households and commercial applications.

In addition, the floor is:

  • water-resistant;
  • easy to maintain;
  • suitable for underfloor heating;
  • slip-resistant;
  • suitable for residential and commercial use;
  • available in Click and Dryback versions.

Click or Dryback: which version do you choose?

Click PVC is suitable when you want to install a floating floor and, with Porto, also benefits from the integrated IXPE underlay.

Dryback PVC is glued directly to a level subfloor and provides an especially stable result and low thermal resistance.

Which version is best depends, among other things, on the existing subfloor, underfloor heating, and how you want to install the floor.

How much Porto Herringbone do you need?

Enter the net number of square meters of your room in the calculator on this page. The calculator will automatically calculate how many full packs you need.

By default, 10% cutting waste included.

For herringbone, we especially recommend this when laying it yourself and having little experience: a minimum of 10% cutting waste to allow for. In rooms with many corners, alcoves, or complex shapes, extra material may be advisable.

Porto Herringbone is sold exclusively per full pack.

What else might you need?

For Dryback PVC depending on the subfloor, you may need:

  • primer
  • self-leveling compound
  • PVC adhesive
  • skirting boards
  • transition profiles

With Click PVC you usually do not need a separate underlay because the IXPE underlay is already integrated. Skirting boards and transition profiles may of course still be needed.

Below this page, you will find our flooring accessories.

Porto Herringbone and underfloor heating

Both versions are suitable for underfloor heating.

The Dryback version has 0.04 m² K/W the lowest thermal resistance. The Click version has a thermal resistance of 0.06 m² K/W.

This makes Porto Herringbone a combination of a luxurious pattern and practical everyday comfort.

Maintenance of Porto Herringbone PVC

PVC is easy to maintain. Regular vacuuming and lightly damp mopping are usually sufficient.

First remove sand and small stones while dry to prevent scratches, and preferably use a cleaning product suitable for PVC that does not leave a sticky residue.

A herringbone floor with character

Porto Herringbone brings warmth and rhythm to an interior without becoming overwhelming. Combine it with calm, light-colored walls for a spacious look, or with dark accents and skirting boards for a bolder, more luxurious overall effect.
