What is the difference between herringbone and chevron flooring?
With herringbone flooring, the planks are positioned at right angles to each other. With Herringbone flooring the ends are placed against each other at an angle, creating crisp V-shapes.

A flat and well-prepared subfloor is especially important with herringbone flooring. The pattern makes minor irregularities more visible than with a standard straight plank.

Porto Paris Herringbone and underfloor heating
With a heat resistance of just 0.04 m² K/W this Dryback floor is exceptionally suitable for underfloor heating.
Because the floor is glued directly to the subfloor, heat can be transferred efficiently.
Maintenance of Porto Paris Herringbone PVC
PVC is easy to keep clean. Regular vacuuming and lightly damp mopping are usually sufficient.
First remove sand and small stones while dry to prevent fine scratches, and preferably use a floor cleaner suitable for PVC that does not leave greasy or sticky residue.
